Diddy announced his MMM album a while back, but after a few promising singles, news of the project seemed to slow to a halt. Last week, the release of "Finna Get Loose," a Pharrell-produced number billed to Puff Daddy & The Family got people talking about the project again, but according to a close collaborator of Diddy's, there's a whole 'nother album in the works.
As you may remember, Puff's 1997 blockbuster LP, No Way Out, was also billed as Puff Daddy and The Family, and according to songwriter Gizzle (who's been working closely with Puff), No Way Out 2 is set to be Diddy's last stand.
We're guessing Gizzle wasn't necessarily meant to make the announcement, but she wasn't afraid to talk about the LP in her red carpet interview with Rap-Up, revealing that MMM might also still be on the way. “I think MMM is something else. You’ll be surprised. It’s a lot of cool things going on,” she said.
Diddy has been using an #NWO2 hashtag on recent Instagram posts, so it's looking like Gizzle's report checks out. Watch her interview below.
