Sean "Diddy" Combs is one of hip-hop's most respected entrepreneurs, so when he speaks, people listen. Especially when it concerns what he calls the "album of the year."
During a hosting gig on the most recent episode of OVO Sound Radio on Apple Music, Diddy had some high praise for Jay-Z's most recent effort, 4:44. The hip-hop magnate not only anointed it the best record of 2017, but he also called it Jay's best album period.
"[...] Everybody ain't motherf**king great, but this n**** Jay-Z is great," proclaimed Diddy. "And that album 4:44 is motherf**king great." He goes on to say that, especially if you're a black male, the LP should be required listening. He even puts it on the same level as the Bible in terms of the magnitude of the lessons it teaches.
