Dee-1 has recently had the rare privilege of working with Mannie Fresh, with the Cash Money legend showing up on his last two singles, "I'll Pay For It", and "The Man In My City" (which also nabbed a guest spot from Juvenile).
Now Dee is paying tribute to a new era of Cash Money, as his newest track recalls the rapper's attempts to hand out mixtapes at Drake shows, before eventually opening for the rapper.
The instrumental uses the same sample found in the outro to Kanye West and Jay Z and Kanye West's "Liftoff".
Look out for more from Dee-1 very soon.
Quotable Lyrics:
Then Drake came out
I studied him, the people lovin' him
They couldn't get enough of him
Is it what he's saying?
Is it how he's saying it?
Is it the beat in the background while he playin' it?
