As long as there are hot instrumentals at his disposal, Dave East won't be taking a break anytime soon. After taking on The Weeknd's "Party Monster" last month, the Harlem rapper has shared a new "EastMix" over "Free Smoke," the opening track from Drake's More Life. Within East's typically technical barrage of bars, there are a couple references and shout-outs of note -- the first and most prominent being, "Ross got the hardest album out / Wonder what's gon' happen when he see Baby?" It's just one of a few lines that show us that East is a fan and spectator of rap just like the rest of us. After that comes the hilarious "I fuck your bitch with Tory Lanez on," before bigging up a fellow New York up-and-comer: "Only other young'n talkin' my type of shit is Don Q / Flex, show 'em what a bomb do."
East and Don Q recently linked up alongside G Herbo on "No Hook." He released his Corner Stories mixtape in February.
