Danny Brown and producer Skywlkr, who appeared frequently on XXX and Old, are back today with a remix to a song by the elusive British experimental producer known as Actress. Their source material is the title track off 2012's R.I.P., which many consider to be Actress' magnum opus, and Skywlkr adds some rattling drums and smoky bass textures to ready the soundscape for his Bruiser Brigade collaborator.
Brown doesn't let the ambient production slow down his flow one bit, as he lays out his entire imagination in wide-eyed exasperation. Though it lasts just a minute, there's about an hour's worth of crazy lyrics to unpack. One can imagine Brown taking a forceful inhalation of some strong OG and immediately relaying the effects straight onto the microphone.
