As promised, D12 reunited and came through with a new mixtape for The Devil's Night, aka the night before Halloween. To help them in their quest, they've enlisted features from Royce da 5'9", Young Buck, Kidd Kidd, Lazarus and King Gordy. Production is handled by Denaun Porter for the most part, as well as Block Symfany.
UPDATE: With the help of DJ Whoo Kid, The Devil's Night has been "reloaded" and now includes that one feature everyone was waiting on: Eminem, who raps an extended murderous verse acapella on the opening track, setting the scene for the gruesome Halloween-themed adventure that follows. The reloaded version also features a new track, "Build With You," featuring T3 of Slum Village.
We spoke with them about the original Devil's Night album, and the idea behind returning to the project in mixtape form. Bizarre told us, "The Devil's Night Mixtape, we going to the mindstate of Devil's Night-- the old essence, the old D12 that you got back in the day, in the mixtape from. The raw skills, the raw lyrics, the battle shit, all that." Watch the full interview below.
