Curren$y took a piss in the mainstream (as he so eloquently put it during an interview with Damon Campbell) when he dropped his latest album, Canal St. Confidential. Now that he's done pissing in mainstream waters, he's headed back to the underground, and working with producer Alchemist comes with that territory.
The rapper had been teasing collaborations with Alchemist recently, and today he revealed there's actually an entire album on the way, titled The Carrollton Heist. Thus, it won't be a direct follow-up to Covert Coup, but we can likely expect a similar sound and style.
Are you excited for a new Spitta x Alchemist album? P.S., who thinks Curren$y should collaborate with Metro Boomin, like, ASAP (we could use another one of these)??
