CJ Fly celebrated his 23rd birthday yesterday by releasing three tracks that didn't make the cut on his upcoming project FLYTRAP.
Track number one: "Fuck Up My Day," which contrary to what the title (and cover art) would have you believe is an extremely upbeat track. Rapping in a sing-song voice over Bruce Leekix's heavily swung drums, CJ argues that simply being alive and not dead, especially when you're a black male who came from nothing, is something worth celebrating. CJ Fly's day is unfuckwitable.
After "Fuck Up My Day," check out the other two songs CJ just dropped.
Quotable Lyrics
Supporting me from jump and said there's nothing I could not achieve
I made it out of nothing right in front should call it alchemy
We looking for results not understanding what the outcome means
Something is wrong internally, that's if you got it out for me
