About a year after their break-up, we're still talking about Ciara and Future, namely because of the drama that has ensued around their son, baby Future. While Ciara appeared to have moved on from the rocky breakup with the rapper by hooking up with NFL star Russell Wilson, the new relationship has caused further tension between CiCi and the father of her child. Recently, Future called Ciara out for allowing Wilson to be photographed pushing the baby's carriage, and filling roles he feels should be reserved for the child's birth father.
Appearing on CBS in the Morning, Ciara drew attention to the irony of Future's complaints. "I think in a sense, it's a bit of a double standard," she said of the criticisms leveled at Wilson. "At one point in time when [Future and I] were together, I took care of his kids as well -- at a very young time in our relationship. I was involved very early in the stage of us getting to know each other, and that's been a big conversation. It's kind of like -- what's the difference here."
Later on Ciara revealed that she had attempted to get Future and Wilson to speak on the phone, which naturally did not end well. "I did reach out to my son's father for him and Russell to speak and he didn't want to talk to me," she said. "We didn't get to talk and that was that. I don't know what more they would expect for me to do than just to live my life."
