The past few months have seen Chris Brown throwing up L.A. Bloods gang signs, being barred from Canada, being rumored to be involved in club brawls, and having a performance interrupted by a stabbing -- are these mere coincidences, or do they point to Brown's alleged gang ties? That's what MTV's Sway Calloway wanted to know in a new interview with Breezy, who said i response that he's not affiliated with any gangs, but is "cordial" to members.
He further explained this by saying, “When you’re in L.A. and you’re around people, you meet everybody — you meet Crips, you meet Bloods, especially in this industry that I’m in. I’m not in the country world, I’m not in the all-the-way pop world. [When] you’re in hip-hop, all of that meshes."
This comes after a TMZ report that Brown's girlfriend, Karreuche Tran, and his mother asked his therapist to warn the singer about the dangers of running with gangs. An additional TMZ article reported that the LAPD reached out to club owners after the aforementioned stabbing, and tried to dissuade them from booking Brown.
