Childish Gambino posts hand-written confessions on his Instgram.

Childish Gambino has been popping back up on hip-hop's radar, with the announcement of an upcoming album, Because The Internet, as well as a new song or two, including "Yaphet Kotto."

The rapper who doubles as a comedian and an actor was in the mood for venting last night, as he posted a bunch of hand-written notes on his Instagram, all of which reveal hopes, fears and dreams of Donald Glover.

Some of them seem like they're jokes, like "I'm afraid I'll never grow out of bro rape," while others seem more based in truth, like, "I'm afraid my show will fail," "I'm afraid my parents won't live long enough to see my kids." Some serve more as confessions, like "I didn't leave 'Community' to rap. I don't wanna rap. I wanted to be on my own."

In one of his hand-written notes the rapper revealed some information concerning the release of upcoming album, and why he wants to drop it in the winter, "The label doesn't want me to release in December 'cause it's not a Holiday record and I'm not a big artist. I started the record last Christmas. Christmas always made me feel lonely, but it helped me restart the New Year. I want people to [have] this album when everything's closed, when everything slows down and quiet. So you can start over."

His final note sheds even more light on the LP, "I got really lost last year. But I can’t be lonely tho. Cause we’re all here. We’re all stuck here. I wanted to make something that says, no matter how bad you fuck up, or mistakes you’ve made during the year, your life, your eternity. You’re always allowed to be better. You’re always allowed to grow up. If you want."

Whatever the case may be, Childish got a lot off his chest in his mini open letter. Check out everything he posted in the gallery above.

[Update: Gambino Denies Being Clinically Depressed]

After Gambino got some things off his chest the other day, some fans thought he may be seriously depressed (See gallery above). Not to worry though, Donald set the story straight today by saying that his posts should not be taking as troublesome.

The rapper addressed this issue on his Twitter account, noting that he is not sad and denying that he is clinically depressed.
