Chief Keef announced that he will hold a benefit concert this Friday for the toddler killed in the aftermath of yesterday's Chicago shooting that ended in the death of Capo.
Fleeing from the Capo shooting, the two suspects (currently in custody) ran over and fatally injured 1-year old Dillon Thomas as he sat in a stroller on the 6300 block of South Ellis Avenue in Chicago’s Woodlawn neighborhood.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the concert will be free and concertgoers will be encouraged to make donations, with all proceeds going to the toddler's family. Chief Keef will perform via hologram from a Los Angeles soundstage.
A spokesperson for Keef said that he is "heartbroken and appalled" and unable to attend in person due to "outstanding warrants his legal team is addressing." He also announced that Keef is forming a new organization called Stop the Violence Now Foundation.
