The Chicago violence has taken away another young aspiring rapper from us. On Thursday morning, Glo Gang affiliate, Blood Money, was gunned down in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
His cousin, Matti Baybee, and close friend, Fredo Santana, took to twitter earlier tonight to express their condolences. According to his publicist, the GBE affiliate had recently signed a deal with Interscope Records, and had several songs already recorded for his upcoming debut project. He was also just featured on Chief Keef's much-talked about record "Fuck Rehab".
Blood Money's publicist made this official statement earlier this morning:
"Mario Hess aka Big Glo (Bloodmoney GBE) was shot multiple times on Thursday April 10, 2014 and later died in a hospital in Chicago IL. Big Glo was recently signed to Interscope records and had recorded several songs for his debut release including songs with Chief Keef and Young Money recording artist Cory Gunz. Story confirmed by Big Glo’s publicist."
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mario's family and friends.
