The North Face and Supreme have long history together; they’ve been continually collaborating on capsule collections for over six years now. Their latest collection comes just in time for the rainy spring months and should make you immediately noticeable to everyone around you. Consider this the opposite of the camouflage trend.
The collection pulls advanced technical features from The North Face’s repertoire, including Polartec and GORE-TEX. Turns out you can have both form and function at the same time. The collection continues the trend of using bright colors that Supreme also used for their last collection with The North Face and the Steep Tech capsule collection.
There is a Trans Antarctica Expedition Pullover Jacket, Fleece Jacket, Rain Pants, Big Haul Backpack and headband. The two brands’ logos appear in multiple place on each item, mirroring the patch-heavy styles that are popular today. A large American flag appears on the back or leg of each item, creating potentially divisive opinions about the clothes, depending on how patriotic you feel.
Everything drops this Thursday, March 30 in store and online (except Japan, which will release on April 1). The Jacket is $488, the pants are $368, the Fleece Jacket is $268, the Backpack is $158 and the headband is $54.
