While many of us are stuck on current President Donald Trump, Chance the Rapper and fellow Chicagoan Joe Fresh Goods are promoting the re-up of the popular #ThankUObama clothing and art collection that originally launched on January 20.
The collection includes a jersey, long and short sleeve tees, sweatshirts and a poster print. The designs reference different parts of the Obama’s legacy, including Michelle Obama’s high school alma mater in Chicago the Whitney Young Magnet High School, Barack and Michelle’s wedding anniversary and even Malia Obama’s weed smoking incident at Lollapalooza (the text reads “we all smoke, it’s ok). The Biggie-inspired portrait of Obama with a crown might be the best one.
Designer Joe Fresh writes that he “wanted to timestamp a period in my life where I felt like can water I wanted to do and be whatever I wanted to be.” He concludes, “I decide to make a collection saying “thank you” and give me something to smile at every now and then when I look in the closet.”
Prices range from $28 for the poster to $150 for the jersey. Head over to ThankUObama.us to grab the stuff before it's gone.
