Just hours before his performance during the second weekend of Coachella on Sunday, 21-year-old Chicago rapper, Chance The Rapper, was forced to cancel his show due to an undisclosed illness.
While Chano may have been released from the hospital on Monday, the Chicago artist isnt’ quite feeling better yet. His manager, Patrick Corcoran, decided to post a letter on Twitter today updating his fans on Chance's current condition and his sickness.
Patrick revealed that Chance had 104-degree fever and was unable to speak due to the inflammation in his throat. The doctors attributed his illness to a combination of the flu and tonsillitis. He is scheduled to see a specialist this week to determine if surgery is necessary. Let's hope that's not the case though.
Per doctors’ orders, Chance was forced to cancel his remaining shows during the week of April 23-27.
Lets wish Chance a speedy recovery fam. Check out Patrick's official release in the gallery above (and below).
