Last week, Chance the Rapper sent his fans into a hype-dream by simply tweeting out artwork and words “Chance 3.” This probably means his long-awaited Chance 3 mixtape is on the way, which would be the first solo project Chance has put out since the incredible Acid Rap in 2013. It now appears we’ll hear the first sounds from that project tonight on Jimmy Fallon.
Chance broke the news in typically understated fashion, simply posting that he’d be appearing on Jimmy Fallon via Twitter and Facebook. He previously teased new music on Snapchat, but that’s the extent of the promotion for the project.
Of course, his fans did a lot of promotion for him, creating faked mock ups of the Chance 3 artwork (unclear at this point) appearing in all sorts of crazy locations, from the Great Wall of China to the Moon.
The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon airs tonight at 11:35pm EST on NBC. Don't miss it.
