Recently Meek Mill said he'd re-visit his battle rap days, for the price of $100,000. He called out Cassidy and Murda Mook to accept his challenge, and he's already received one response, from fellow Philly native, Cassidy.
While on a Philly radio show, Cassidy said he'd love to battle rap Meek, and he still thinks he's the best the city has to offer. He even thinks he can get sponsors to help out. Cassidy also clarifies he has no ill-will towards Meek, but that this battle would just be exciting for the hip-hop culture.
After word got out that Cassidy was accepting Meek's offer, the MMG rapper took to Twitter to clarify that he wasn't actually asking to battle Cass or Mook, he was saying he wanted to see Cassidy and Mook battle each other. He then proceeds to say his album, Dreams & Nightmares, is better than any battle rap.
We'll have to wait and see if anything results from this. Listen to Cassidy's radio show interview below (via 2DopeBoyz).
