YMCMB's Caskey has developed a reputation for being one of the more substance-driven emcees signed to the house that Birdman built, and "Wife Beater" is the perfect example why. Taking on a dark subject matter with surprising insight and depth, the Orlando representative and video director Legit Looks somehow make a video featuring half-naked strippers and give it emotional complexity--a rare thing in today's hip-hop landscape. This one deserves at least one serious listen.
