Ca$h Out has his pulse on some of the hottest trap sounds in Atlanta right now. He's has two new bubbling singles, February's "Extra," produced by Inomek in da Kitchen, and "Born for This," featuring Rich Homie Quan, released a month ago. He's now back with "Heard What I Said," featuring Young Sizzle (the rapping alias of Southside) and produced by DJ Spinz. Ca$h Out was the first act to blow from Spinz' now-elite Hoodrich Production Group, with hits like "Cashin' Out" and "She Twerkin'," so it's good to see that he and Spinz still have that day-one chemistry.
The crackly mumbles of Ca$h Out help build an intoxicating aura of trap energy around Spinz' eerie piano-driven production. "You heard what I said," Ca$h repeats under his breath with a faintly menacing tone. He knows this is true even if the listener doesn't exactly understand what he's saying. It's all about the attitude. Those who enjoy a more enunciated flow will enjoy the bruising Young Sizzle verse that ensues. This is his second recent effort at rapping atop a Spinz beat, following last week's "Fuck Em All."
Quotable Lyrics
I'm makin' it rain on these bitches
I'm runnin' up all of my n*ggas
I ain't got no love for these n*ggas
You see that I'm grippin' the trigger
You see that I'm drinkin' lil n*gga
Yeah, I get to the bread, I get to the bread
Yeah, you heard what I said, you heard what I said
