Knicks and Rockets still engaged on Melo trade talks.

The New York Knicks are reportedly focused on trading Carmelo Anthony and the Houston Rockets have emerged as the most likely landing spot.

According to ESPN's Knicks beat writer Ian Begley, "Carmelo feels pretty confident that a deal will get done at this point to Houston.”

After the Knicks failed to come to terms on a deal with former Cavs GM David Griffin, the team has reportedly shifted their focus to dealing Melo to Houston and finding a veteran PG to mentor their first round draft pick, 18-year old Frank Ntilikina.

Also worth noting, Rockets big man Nene shared a photo on instagram of Melo in a Rockets jersey last night with a caption that read, "He will look good in this uniform and I cant wait to get back on old time like in Denver with him ... do you guys remember?"

Although Nene quickly deleted the post you can check out the screen grab below.
