Electronic producer and Montreal native A-Trak teased fans earlier today with a new collaboration featuring Dipset leader Cam'ron. As it turns out, the two will be teaming up for more than just one record, and apparently even Just Blaze had a role to play in their collaborative efforts.
MissInfo reports that A-Trak and Cam'ron are working on a new EP to be released via A-Trak's home of Fool's Gold Records. Apparently A-Trak isn't the only producer working on this project, as Just Blaze tweeted that he programmed some drums on it, while A-Trak also tweeted, "wait til they see the production team we got on this killa project..." We'll have to wait and see who else was tapped for the extended play.
For now you can check out the teaser on A-Trak's Instagram below. Are you excited to hear more?
[UPDATE: New Details On EP Title & Expected Release]
As we reported yesterday, producer A-Trak is teaming up with Killa Cam for a collaborative EP. We didn't have details like the EP title or release date at the time, but now Complex has unearthed the project's title.
It's set to be called Federal Reserve, and is slated for a spring release. The EP is also going to feature Dipset members Jim Jones and Juelz Santana-- which will be the first time these three Dipset rappers have worked together since 2010's "Salute." On top of this, Dame Dash will be executive producing the project.
Another bit of exciting news via Complex: A-Trak is apparently working with producer Lex Luger (where has he been?) under the name Low Pros, for a project that will feature Young Thug, Travi$ Scott and Juvenile, among others. Stay tuned.
