Although we haven't featured Calliko on HNHH before, the strength of his rapping on this track makes it seem like we need to get familiar with him ASAP. "Wings" first popped up on our radar because it features a hook by Wiz Khalifa, but if you came for the Taylor Gang boss, stick around for Calliko.
The SoundCloud description for "Wings" notes Calliko's "rapid fire delivery," which is a prefect way to describe his approach to flows on this track. He rarely breaks from his double-time bars, which persist over two full verses, and almost steal the show here. That being said, it's great to hear Khalifa return to singing hooks in his more natural, "This Plane" style, which has recently taken the backseat to his "Trap Wiz" persona.
