Over the course of his ongoing #RawDopeWednesdays series (I know, we're a bit late this week), Bryant Dope has worn many hats. The first two, "My First Love" and "The Best Part," were both sensual love songs that showed his softer side, the last one, "Summer In The City," was the cool, classic summer blazing anthem, and now Dope is letting his more ominous side show on "Dark Days."
The Marc R.-produced track begins jerkily, but soon expands into a piano-led jam about stress, insomnia and lack of inspiration. With each new track, Bryant Dope reveals himself to be more of an emotionally complex rapper.
Quotable Lyrics:
Stress in m dome
Stress in my soul
Poisoned my whole spirit
I'm fallin' in a whole of light, not goin' near it
