HNHH Premiere! Boogie teams up with Dana Williams for "Sunroof."

Since Boogie dropped off The Reach last summer, the Compton native has given us a handful or two of loose cuts, including a collaboration with fellow up & comer Tink, "Catching Feelings" and a follow-up to the record that first put him on our radar, "Bitter Raps," with "Out My Way (Bitter Raps II)." He's taken time in between each song release, with the most recent, where Boogie turns a mirror to himself and what his role is/should be in social turmoil, arriving a couple months back.

Now it's back to the promotion of Thirst 48 Pt 2, a follow up to Boogie's debut mixtape Thirst 48 (two years old), and the third mixtape from the Interscope-signed rapper. This is the first official lead single from the project, and the song feels like a fitting way to close out the summer. It feels almost like a farewell record to the warmer months, with breezy acoustic guitar plucking that builds up into the verses, and a nostalgic hook featuring singer Dana Williams.

Does this leak have you excited for the direction of Thirst 48 Pt 2? The project is dropping really soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

Quotable Lyrics

Went from no piece now I know peace, yeah yeah
You a good day, you like a hood day with no police, yeah yeah
Now I'm breaking down all the hate, yeah
Leave the smoke clouds full of pain, yeah
