Bobby Shmurda is slowly dipping off into irrelevancy thanks to an unfortunate prison lock-up, right around the time his career was sky-rocketing. Hopefully he'll be able to get back on track, possibly as soon as tomorrow.
Reports surfaced today stating that Shmurda's family has helped come up with the $2 million bond needed for Shmurda's freedom. Apparently Shmurda's aunt is to be thanked in large part, as she put up several properties in order to come up with the dough. The family has reportedly been working closely with NY bondsman Ira Judelson to figure out a solution.
Shmurda's legal team also feels extremely confident in their bail package this time around, as they've put together a 200-page document that tracks where every single penny that makes up the bond money is coming from.
They're hoping to present the bail package to a judge as soon as possible. We'll keep you posted on this story.
