On October 21, Boaz will release Intuition, his debut album on Rostrum Records. Today, he's shared the first track we've heard from it, "Rootin' 4 The Villain," which features a pair of heavy-hitting verses from Jadakiss and Styles P.
Sampling a familiar drum break, "Rootin' 4 The Villain" opens with Boaz comparing himself to Robin Hood and saying that weed isn't bad for him. Jada follows, sounding every bit like the "villain" in the tile with his gravelly voice, and Styles P comes through bombastically, citing Scarface as a predecessor to his villainous ways.
Preorder Intuition from iTunes, and stay tuned for more leaks from the project prior to its release.
Quotable Lyrics:
How could I sell hard and still believe in God
Well I guess this shit blasphemy
I'm sorry, smokin' weed's not bad for me
I got a GCD, that Gettin' Cash Degree
