After Birdman delivered his new Rich Gang compilation album on Tuesday, many fans had questions about the absence of Drake. Well earlier today, Birdman continued his promo run and stopped by MTV Rapfix Live to chop it up with Sway about the absence of Drake from the album, reuniting with Mannie Fresh, and the upcoming Big Tymers album.
During their sitdown interview, Sway quickly hit Birdman with the question that many of us were waiting to hear. Why was Chris Brown featured on the album, but not Drake? Birdman replied,
"Drake was out of the country recording his album. I got songs, 'cause we doing the Big Tymers album. So I just said, we gon' hold those songs for the Big Tymers album. I think it'll be even more special."
Birdman followed that up stressing that he had nothing to do with the Chris Brown and Drake beef. Stunna stressed,
"I aint got nothin to do with that, I know nothing about that. Drakes blood, that's my family, my love, and we ride with Chris, but I don't know nothing about their differences".
Birdman also goes on to talk about the upcoming Big Tymers album as well. He mentions that they have already began working on the album and that he's already been in talks with Mannie Fresh and they are about to hit the studio in the next couple weeks to work on new material, presumably for the album. Birdman also revealed that we should expect to hear a single off the Big Tymers' album come September or October.
