Birdman announced that Young thug will be on his new album "Rich Gang 2."

Birdman recently visited Travis Scott's Beats 1 .wav radio show, where he discussed his plans for his upcoming Rich Gang 2 album. He said 10 or 12 tracks had already been completed and that Young Thug would be the only featured artist on it besides himself. Both artists have had to deal with problems related to fellow associates with whom they enjoyed immense success in the past. Birdman is still negotiating the release of Tha Carter V with Lil Wayne, and Thugger has beefed with former Rich Gang member Rich Homie Quan.

Ten or 12 new tracks would suggest that the album is close to completion. Birdman hasn't put out a project since last May's Lost At Sea with Jacquees.

Young Thug made an appearance with Birdman on Scott's radio show, which might confirm that Rich Gang 2 is due. The Cash Money producer also took the opportunity that day to announce that Tha Carter V would be released soon, an assertion that Lil Wayne was only too happy to shoot down.

Meanwhile, Quan, who left Rich Gang to start his own thing, has been hinting for months on Instagram that he's up to something. Besides working on the track "Ya Ya," the Atlanta rapper hasn't put out any mixtapes let alone a studio album. He was on the collaboration mixtape Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1 with Birdman and Thugger. He's currently on tour.
