Big Sean and Jhene Aiko both retweeted videos posted by a brand new Twitter account called TWENTY88 tonight. The first clip shows both Sean and Aiko sitting in the backseat of a car, and the second shows Aiko being filmed by a robot while she's likely in the middle of intercourse (perhaps with Sean).
Both stars then changed their profile pictures to the same one shown on the account of TWENTY88 -- an album cover that shows Sean's face next to that of Aiko, who's donning an orange wig. They also each edited their Twitter bios to read, "1/2 of TWENTY88," suggesting that Aiko and Sean now make up a duo called TWENTY88.
After posting the short videos, TWENTY88 tweeted a picture of the album cover and wrote, "4/1." That tweet was retweeted by both Sean and Aiko, so it seems like they will be releasing a joint project on April 1.
The meaning behind the name TWENTY88 is unclear, though, judging by the promo clips and the album artwork, Aiko and Sean are channeling a futuristic aesthetic. As for what the music will sound like, each video contains 15 seconds of a different instrumental that will presumably appear on the upcoming release. They both sound amazing.
What a surprise. Check back here on Friday for the debut project from TWENTY88.
