UPDATE: Beyonce took the stage and stole the show with an incredible live interpretation of her visual album Lemonade. Relive the awe-inspiring 15-minute performance below.
Some of the year's most anticipated performances will be taking place tonight during the VMAs. The acts that have already been announced include Rihanna -- recipient of the Video Vanguard award, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande, Future, and Kanye West, the latter whom will reportedly be able to do whatever he wants during his four-minute slot. According to the Los Angeles Times, Beyonce will also be a part of tonight's stellar lineup. She has apparently been spending the last few days in "top-secret rehearsals" in preparation for the VMAs. She'll be in the audience whether she performs or not, as she's up for 11 awards for videos from her April "visual album," Lemonade.
The VMAs will be broadcasting live from Madison Square Garden beginning tonight (Aug. 28) at 9PM EST.
