It’s safe to say that Azaelia Banks loves confrontation, whether she’s going at someone on twitter or getting into a physical altercation, the Harlem rapper can’t seem to stay away from trouble. On Wednesday morning (12/16), Azealia was reportedly arrested again in Manhattan following an alleged attack on a female security guard, Page Six reports.
The alleged attack took place outside of a private party at Up & Down nightclub around 12:30 AM Wednesday morning, when Banks got into with two bouncers. According to an anonymous source, the incident broke out following an argument over Banks not having a hand-stamp to an invite-only party.
“It was an invite-only party,” the source said. “You needed a stamp to get in.” The source, who claims the bouncers "didn't recognize Banks," says the rapper was “screaming at the top of her lungs, cursing about who she was and that she was on Rihanna’s album."
Shortly after, Banks reportedly "spit in the [female bouncer’s] face before biting the same woman in the boob, almost ripping her shirt . . . as they took her out.” After leaving the club, Banks allegedly threatened to call the cops and later "punched" the female bouncer in front of a police officer before asking, "Why are you arresting me?"
Page Six reports that Banks is facing a misdemeanor charge of third-degree assault and was held at New York's Sixth Precinct for evaluation. She has yet to respond or make any comments on the incident.
