Perhaps unsurprisingly, Azealia Banks expressed interest in performing at Donald Trump's inauguration today. The controversial rapper, who has shown support for Trump in the past, took to Instagram and Facebook to rant about the "trash" lineup for this Friday's inauguration concert, suggesting she would have brought the event the party it "deserves."
"I should have been performing 'The Big Big Beat' at the inauguration" she wrote in a since-deleted IG post (it can be found in the gallery above). "This election was waaaaay too lit for there to be such a lack-luster celebration. Me and Milo [Yiannopoulos] should be hosting it and turning that party into the teen choice awards."
Milo later responded to Banks' post on Facebook, writing, "You're my first, second and last choice," to which Azealia replied, "Me and you in the front row looking MAAAAD cute omg we would break the internet."
Milo Yiannopoulos, for those unaware, is a right-wing writer who was permanently suspended from Twitter after leading a harassment campaign on actress and comedian Leslie Jones. In other words, a pretty hateful human being.
Thankfully, the inauguration will not be a Teen Choice Awards-like event hosted by Azealia and Milo. Unfortunately, Trump is still becoming president on Friday, trash lineup or not. Earlier today, it was reported that Chrisette Michelle was to perform at the event, which has drawn criticism from fans.
