Los Angeles rapper A$ton Matthews has shared a dark new track, "Coldest Night In Hell," which is said to be a reaction to the 100 Days, 100 Nights killings in Matthews' city last summer. New York producer Velous supplies the gritty instrumental, which prompts A$ton to open with some dark imagery; "These the darkest nights your boy done ever seen / 100 days, 100 nights, look like a murder scene."
This follows Matthews single, "Desperado," from earlier this summer. Last we heard, he was working on a project called Chapovelli. You can stream or download his Aston 3:16 mixtape here.
Quotable Lyrics:
Hallelujah, drop my soul in that collection plate
Heaven gates, they already late
I picked the spot and you could set the date
I think I'm ready to die
I'll fuck around and you'll get buried alive
