ASAP Rocky was one of the biggest breakout rappers of the last few years, getting signed and releasing his debut album in an insanely short timeframe after first breaking through with "Purple Swag" and "Peso". His sophomore album has been cooking for a lot longer though, and fans have been eagerly awaiting any news on his follow-up to Long.Live.A$AP.
In a new interview with Billboard, Rocky revealed that the LP (which we only know as the title A.L.L.A. right now) is coming sooner than we think. "Honestly, it's finished," he said. "I'm mastering it right now. It's coming soon. Seriously soon."
He later hinted that the album may be dropping unannounced. "I don't consider it a surprise -- you put it out there and it's art, that's the surprise," he said of the recent trend of dropping the rollout format. "I hope people are surprised by my album. I don't know what to expect, I just do what I do."
As far as collaborators go, he listed LLA producer Clams Casino, as well as Lykke Li and FKA Twigs (who he apparently worked with a good 3 years ago).
You can read the full interview here. Look out for the album sooner than later.
