ASAP Rocky is all over the web for his always-on-point fashion sense and his new fling with Kendall Jenner, which has been impossible to keep under the radar. He hasn't been making too much noise on the music front, though. He recently guested on a star-studded remake of Black Eyed Peas' "Where Is the Love" as well as the title track on Vince Staples' Prima Donna EP, and though he was an active part of A$AP Mob's Wavy Wednesdays series earlier this year, he hasn't dropped off any material of his own since his last album, At.Long.Last.A$AP, released in May of last year. His fans will be glad to know that he's currently working on the ALLA follow-up, as producer Jim Jonsin posted a picture of himself and Rocky working on "album #3."
In between Jonsin and Rocky in that same picture is Lenny Kravitz, who also went on his own Instagram to share a photo of him and Rocky, writing, "After my session checking out @asaprocky's new tracks." Though he didn't suggest that the two of them did any collaborating that day, it wouldn't be surprising if the veteran rocker showed up on Flacko's next album, especially considering the sonic direction of ALLA. Rocky is also a close friend of Kravitz' daughter.
Jonsin has worked with an array of hip-hop and R&B stars, often churning out smash hits. His credits include Pretty Ricky's "Grind With Me," Lil Wayne's "Lollipop," and T.I.'s "Whatever You Like," to name a few. On ALLA, he helped produce the single "L$D" as well as the track "Excuse Me." Those who enjoyed the psych-pop feel of those records should have much to look forward to on Rocky's next album.
