It appears A$AP Rocky is the latest victim in a new lawsuit. According to TMZ, a NYC landlord is suing the Harlem rapper after he left his NYC apartment in ruins following his lease.
TMZ reports that Rocky informed the landlord he was going to make some changes to the unit and agreed to restore it back to its original look before his lease ended. However that apparently never happened and the rapper allegedly left the apartment “filthy and damaged” when he left in August.
The landlord claims Rocky turned a walk-in closet into a recording studio and that he removed custom chandeliers and a security camera. He’s also being blamed for scratches and stains throughout the apartment as well.
The landlord is reportedly suing Flacko for the damages and is also asking for $100,000 in punitive fees, which is a classic case of a money-hungry landlord looking to squeeze every dollar out of the situation.
