Just yesterday, A$AP Ferg confirmed with XXL that his follow up album to Trap Lord is nearing completion. Now, in a separate interview with Ferg, the A$AP Mob rapper reveals he's got another project in the works, to precede his sophomore as-of-now-untitled album.
While sitting down with Fashion Bros for Complex TV, the Hood Pope says he's hoping to put out his proper album "early next year." As for the mixtape, Ferg said, "I can tell you I have a mixtape dropping with DJ Drama soon. Before the album." The latest rapper to get a Gangsta Grillz tape under his belt was Childish Gambino, with STN MTN.
Ferg said he's been in Atlanta working with Drama on the tape. Recently A$AM Yams announced the crew had squashed their collaborative album L.O.R.D in place for solo albums from the A$AP rappers, which was followed by Rocky's new single "Multiply." Stay tuned for new music from Ferg.
