A$AP Bari of the A$AP Mob might not be a rapper, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t making moves like the rest of the mob. After debuting his VLONE collection back in 2014, he and A$AP Rocky are in the midst of an even bigger launch.
The A$AP duo hosted a runway show yesterday evening in Los Angeles, showcasing new products and reminding everyone why there was so much buzz two years ago by incorporating an even more noteworthy streetwear brand: Virgil Abloh’s Off-White. The limited edition collaboration was the focal point of the show.
In typical fashion, the show was as untraditional as can be. Models wearing VLONE gear skated a mini-pipe in a heavily-graffitied art space before filing out of the space in a line. The new collection features jumpsuits, tees, sweatshirts, shorts, denim and pants. Various camo patterns seemed to be the main motif, as well as the brand’s signature ‘V’.
VLONE is a play on the inverted ‘A’ often used in ASVP, and stands for “live alone die alone.” The products can be purchased exclusively through the VLONE pop-up shop located at 801 Mateo, Unit C, in Los Angeles, California. The shop will be open through April 29.
