Anderson .Paak is releasing a new album with his band, The Free Nationals, later this year.

While everyone was all jacked up the other day for news of an upcoming Flying Lotus x Anderson .Paak collab, the Malibu artist revealed some news that flew quietly under the radar. In the midst of the Flying Lotus rumors, Anderson took to Twitter to announce that he will also be releasing a new album this year with his band The Free Nationals.

Unfortunately, there’s no word yet as for when the album will be arriving, but considering Anderson & The Free Nationals are hitting the road with Bruno Mars this Spring for the 24K Magic World Tour, don’t be surprised if it surfaces before then. Or at the very least we should receive some new music by then I’d hope.

Peep the announcement below, and we’ll continue to keep you posted on any updates moving forward.
