Alex Wiley is kind of a weird dude. How weird, you ask? Weird enough to title a song "Sexual Dolphin." Yup, that's his new, Odd Couple and Carter Lang-produced loosie, which arrives today via SoundCloud.
Writing about the track, Wiley said, “I’m trying to make rock music. I don’t want rock n’ roll to die. I think Kanye said it best: Rappers are the rock stars right now.”
Despite that, there's little in "Sexual Dolphin" that would lead you to call it a "rock song." Synths dominate the instrumental, and an aquatic feel is definitely there, aided by some very squelchy sonic textures.
