Hopefully people haven’t forgotten already, but Tracy McGrady was once one of the most exciting offensive players in the NBA. Just watch this video of him scoring 13 points in 33 seconds versus the San Antonio Spurs if you don’t remember or don’t believe us. His prime came with the Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic, but he was originally a Toronto Raptor (along with Vince Carter), and Adidas hasn’t missed that fact as NBA All-Star Weekend approaches.
That’s right, adidas is bringing back the iconic T-MAC 3. At one point, these were the hottest basketball shoe on the market. This time the shoe gets an all white treatment to match the D Lillard 2 also releasing next week. The white gives way to a bright glow-in-the-dark shoe once the lights go out, and adidas has given the left and right pairs separate colors as an homage to the mismatched sneakers T-Mac wore at an All Star game once. the sneaker also includes a Toronto-influenced touch with fur lining along ankle and tongue of the shoe.
The T-MAC 3 will go for $150, and releases on February 11 on adidas’ website. Will you be taking a trip down memory lane?
