The shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri has led to an upswing in protests against police violence and harassment, but that type of behavior is nothing new for law enforcement in this country. AD recognizes this, and attempts to put today's outrage in historical context on his new track "PIA" (Pigs In America).
While some people are just coming around to the idea that police are not to be, in AD's words, "fucked with," the Compton MC has known that for years. Growing up in the section of L.A. where "Fuck The Police" was born, AD has no doubt seen the worst side of LAPD, and he does a great job of relating his rage on "PIA."
