The latest episode of Dr. Dre's Beats 1 show The Pharmacy was one to remember. As promised, Dre delivered some unreleased music, sharing a collaboration with Marshia Ambrosius, as well as a brand new record from Anderson Paak. As usual, there was also a freestyle section of the show, and it was Compton's AD who stepped up to the plate this time around.
Giving us one of his most confrontational verses yet, AD gave an original Dr. Dre production everything he had, and made quite an impression as a result. If you weren't familiar with the rapper before the show's airing, you surely knew his name thereafter. For those who missed the broadcast, or simply wanted to hear the furious bars again, AD has shared the verse on SoundCloud.
Quotable Lyrics:
Oh lord, Xzibit
I loved Straight Outta Compton
But I'm still kinda salty I wasn't in it
Guess acting just ain't my forte
Well fuck it, it's right back to the music
A couple records from Andre to study
