We take a look at the nine rappers from Atlanta who stole the spotlight this year when it comes to rap features.

From Chance the Rapper’s sermon heard around the world (“Ultralight Beams”) to the Nipsey Hussle sixteen that was being decoded by the Secret Service (“FDT”), 2016 was a particularly exciting year for guest spots in rap. Some of the best songs on the soundtrack to 2016’s dystopian election cycle were electric collaborations between the young and the old guard (“[Father Stretch My Hands] Pt. 2”), different regions (“Lockjaw”) and completely different styles (“I Got the Keys”).

All around, this was a great year for hip-hop. However, and in spite of all the swagger jacking from the rest of the industry, it's Atlanta that still seems to be delivering the most heat on a consistent basis. Here are 9 Atlanta affiliates who ran the features game in 2016.
