50 Cent believes Rick Ross used "In Da Club" to promote his new album.

The 50 Cent/Rick Ross beef has produced numerous entertaining moments over the course of the last few months. Their beef has primarily taken the form of jabs on social media. But now it appears that the stakes have been raised. According to TMZ, 50 is suing Ross for using his classic "In Da Club" beat on his recent mixtape Renzel Remixes.

50 is reportedly seeking over $2 million in compensation from the lawsuit, filed in Connecticut this week.

Though Renzel Remixes was a free mixtape, 50 claims that it served as publicity for Ross' album Black Market, which dropped a week later.

Does 50 have a case?
