With two tracks -- “No Heart” and “X” -- on Hot 100 and Savage Mode still reaping at No. 30 on the Billboard 200, 21 Savage is on top of the world. The emcee isn't resting on his laurels though. The Atlanta rapper took to Twitter early Thursday to announce he's working on a new album.
Last month, 21 signed a contract with Epic Records. The label's chairman and CEO, L.A. Reid is apparently a big fan of "No Heart."
“I ain’t wanna just sign on some straight business shit, I wanna sign to someone who believes in me and understands me," 21 told XXL at the time.
No word yet on how that would impact the sequel to Savage Mode. In November, it was revealed that he and Metro Boomin recorded 20 to 30 more songs. Just yesterday he put out a new joint "I Hope It Don't Jam" with Ralo and Jefe.
